Sketches of Indonesia

When I went on a two month journey through Indonesia, I had only a small camera with me (Canon Powershot G16), one of those compact ones I never felt at ease with (probably because its viewfinder is useless and I hate LCD displays). Still today I'm regretting my decision not to carry my reflex with me. But I took it very easy at the time, I shot almost distractedly, just because I was there. In that beauty. All over.

Let me take you through the islands of Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores and Sulawesi. With their volcanoes, countryside, jungles, seasides, traditions, and the people of Indonesia.
